The Aiken Armada Swim Team’s mission is to serve children and families in Aiken County and the CSRA through a YMCA swim team program that promotes excellence through teaching technical swimming and builds healthy bodies, minds, and spirits for our swimmers in a safe, healthy, and positive environment.

Our team values honest communication and sincere actions that encourage individual responsibility, caring for others, and a strong work ethic. We believe in investing in our kids’ whole person in addition to their swimming proficiency, athletic development, and self-confidence. These priorities are a reflection of the traditional values of our community and encourage respect for self and others.

The Aiken Armada Swim Team was established in 2018 at the Aiken County Family YMCA. Our facility offers a 25 meter outdoor pool for spring, summer and fall use, while commuting to Augusta YMCA during the winter months. The outdoor pool facility also has a slide pool, lazy river, and splash pool during the summer months that can be used by members of the family. Many family members enjoy using the indoor weight room, studios, and gym during practice hours.
